After living for almost one year in a small fishermen village by the sea, in Rio de Janeiro, I went with my husband to live for almost the same time in Croydon, England. The blue sky became gray, the people with shorts and sandals put heavy coats and boots, the smiles were less, and the light darker. Another culture, but people’s heart were alike.
